BlackBerry and Nusanet Business Mail Server

SUMMARY

This article explains how to configure a BlackBerry Mobile device to use the Nusanet BDL IMAP or POP services to download messages to the device via the LogicMail email client plugin for Blackberry devices.

DETAIL

Requirements: LogicMail 1.9.0 plugin - http://www.logicprobe.org/builds/logicmail/latest/LogicMail-1.9.0.zip

NOTE: Please consult within the LogicMail Readme guides and the BlackBerry device Documentation for "Desktop Manager" on how to install the plug-in using the BlackBerry device "Desktop Manager" - "Application loader" option.

Configuring LogicMail to download messages via the Nusanet BDL POP service:

 
  • Go to the LogicMail menu, and select "Configuration"
  • Next go to "Accounts," bring up the menu, and select "Add account"
  • Select the account type, "POP"
  • Account name: Nusanet BDL POP (mailboxname)
  • Server: mail.bdl.nusa.net.id
  • Username: mailboxname@bdl.nusa.net.id
  • Password: *********
  • SMTP outgoing server: mail.bdl.nusa.net.id

Configuring LogicMail to download messages via the Nusanet BDL IMAP service:

  • Go to the LogicMail menu, and select "Configuration"
  • Next go to "Accounts," bring up the menu, and select "Add account"
  • Select the account type, "IMAP"
  • Account name: Nusanet BDL IMAP (mailboxname)
  • Server: mail.bdl.nusa.net.id
  • Username: mailboxname@bdl.nusa.net.id 
  • Password: *********
  • SMTP outgoing server: mail.bdl.nusa.net.id
